E-mail accounts with POP3 access enabled must authenticate to the LoadMail servers before receiving messages. Listed below are common reasons why users will receive the "cannot communicate with POP3.loadmail.com" error.
- Internet Service Provider is Unavailable or Down
LoadMail is remotely hosted and accounts unable to receive using the LoadMail POP3 server should verify the following:
a. Check your Internet browser for access to alternate web sites.
b. If using a router, check the connection to the Internet.
c. Check to see that your computer is properly connected to the network. - ISP Blocks Port 110
Change your Incoming (POP3) Port settings to Port 22 or Port 80. - DNS Failure
Contact your ISP and verify that their DNS servers are functioning correctly. - LoadMail is Down for Maintenance
