Recently we've had a number of users writing in asking why they are getting so much junk-mail with the phrase [SPAM] in the Subject line delivered to their Inbox. Well, the primary reason is that the user's setting in the Webmail system is probably set to HIGH but the Action setting is set to leave the e-mail in the INBOX and simply tag the message as [SPAM].
Which in turn begs the next question: "Why do you tag messages as [SPAM] in the first place?"
The short and sweet answer is to keep you from losing mail you actually want.
The long answer has to deal with false positives marked by junk-mail filtering software and spam-filtering programs. When handling mail for a specific domain name, often times, it is difficult to discern what one user feels is SPAM in conjunction with other users at the same domain name. Therefore, LoadMail allows each user to configure their personalized settings in the Webmail system. Login to your Webmail system and go to OPTIONS >> FILTERS to learn more.
